Is this legal and legitimate?

Absolutely. We guide you through the official, legal processes for forming a US company and opening a bank account as a non-resident. We are not a law firm, but we provide a clear, step-by-step playbook based on years of experience.

Do I really need a US company to get a US bank account?

Yes, for a business bank account, you need a registered US entity. This is covered.

Why not just use a service like Stripe Atlas?

Stripe Atlas is a great service, but it's just one piece of the puzzle. They help with formation but don't provide the in-depth guidance on banking, and more importantly, on how to leverage your new entity to build business credit and unlock opportunities.

Can I really get a US credit card with no US credit history?

Often, yes. The key is to start with the right type of accounts and build from there: secured cards first, then unsecured credit lines. Approval is always the issuer's decision, so we can't guarantee it.

How is this different from hiring a lawyer or CPA?

We focus on getting your US setup working: the company, tax ID, bank account and credit. We are not a law firm or an accounting firm, so for tax filings and legal advice you will still want a CPA or lawyer. We'll tell you where you need one.

What does the LLC cost to keep each year?

Usually about $200–900 a year for an LLC that isn't selling yet: a registered agent, the state fee ($60 in Wyoming, $0 in New Mexico) and one federal filing, Form 5472, which is required even with no revenue.
